Wednesday Evenings in the Presence of Jesus.
We have set aside Wednesday evenings as a community to be a place of adoration for jesus.
We long to be a place Bethany, a place Jesus not only frequented for visits, but stayed and dwelled with.
We want to have hearts like Mary of Bethany where our worship is costly and doesn't have to be polished.
We long for Him to find a bride in love with Him and desiring His heart to come close.
We believe is all in all and present in all but He comes closer where He is wanted.
These evenings are simple, absent of teaching and sermons, and full of worship & adoration.

So, what do Wednesday's gatherings look like?
Typically, we start with prayer and a time of silence to come back to the pace of Jesus after a long day of work in the middle of the week.
Then, as prescribed in Psalm 100, we enter with Thanksgiving by praying out to Jesus what we are thankful for.
After this time, we receive the invitation to receive Communion (the Eucharist), which is the person of Jesus to fill us and heal us.
From here, we enter into a time of musical worship as a community.
This time and it's songs are typically sourced out of a passage of Scripture.
We intentionally strip this time back -- no slideshow with words, very acoustic in nature.
The room is set up very organically (less like a church service and more like a home or café) to allow you the freedom to express worship how you'd like:
kneeling, sitting, standing, dancing, bowing. The goal is to honor Jesus with our words, bodies, and whole beings.

While there is deep power in gathering in one accord and alongside the eternal gathering happening around His throne,
we recognize that no matter how we structure, plan or organize a church gathering, it will never heal, restore, change, or transform lives.
Only Jesus Christ, the risen and reigning Messiah and Lord, can do this.
This is why we invite you to come... To meet with Him.
To hear Him speak through stilling yourself in His midst.
To honor Him with thanksgiving and gratitude.
To receive Him through the sacrament of Communion.
To adore Him through the lifting of your voice in song.
He can heal you. He can restore all things. He can transform. He can free you from addiction.
