Sunday Mornings in the Presence of Jesus.
We believe in the rhythm of gathering weekly as believers as a practice of following Jesus.
We see in Scripture that Jesus and His disciples gathered regularly in the Synogogue for the reading of Scripture and worship.
This is a time to follow the model set before us in Acts as well: to gather with one another, listen to the teachings of Jesus through the Scriptures,
worship Jesus in song, giving, and prayer, and receive His broken body and blood poured out for the forgiveness of sin as He asked us to.

So, what do Sunday services look like?
Our gathering on Sunday begins at 10am.
We have a set aside time starting at 9am for prayer and seeking the Lord for the day's gathering. Everyone is free to join that time.
Some people arrive 30-45 minutes early to have coffee (free on Sundays thanks to Cadence Coffee Co.) and connect with other believers.
Others arrive 10-15 minutes early to ensure they find parking and a seat in our space.
At 10am, we begin with prayer & worship as a community with an upward & outward focus.
We want all of our worship to be about, for, and unto Jesus alone. The quicker we can get our gaze on Him, the better.
After this time, we transition to a short time of reading The Jesus Storybook Bible to our kids, before blessing them and sending them back for RiverKidz.
Then we have a short time of annoucements and opportunities to serve as a community of believers.
At this time, either our Pastor or a hand selected teacher, comes to read the Scriptures and teach us about Jesus and His way of living.
This time typically goes for about 45 minutes then we end our gathering by receiving Communion together.

Do you have a space for kids? What about infants & toddlers?
Of course! We believe there is no junior version of Holy Spirit and that Jesus can meet our kids powerfully just like He can in our gathering.
We have three different classes for kiddos: Our Bigs (5 yrs - 11 yrs old), Our Littles (3 yrs - 5 yrs old), and our Babies (2 yrs & under).
These are three separate rooms designed for each age group with lessons adapted accordingly.
All of our lessons are about Jesus. We want our kids to know Jesus. This is our priority.
We want to teach Him, not topics. For example, we want to teach, Jesus the Healer, not simply Healing.
If they know Him, they will have all they need. For He is the only true message.
All of our volunteers have been screened via pastoral approval and an official background check.
The space is securely nestled behind the gathering space where the adults gather.

What does parking look like?
Thankfully, on Sundays all street parking is free in Chattanooga.
Unfortunately, we do not have our own designated parking.
We encourage you to find street parking either on Market Street, Cherry Street, or 7th Street.
