I'm a Pastor. I'm a Barista. Put the two together and you get a Pastorista. Some would say that I'm kind of like a spiritual bartender. Only I serve good coffee and a cup of comfort, counsel, and hopefully a little comedy too. I'm a believer that faith lived out belongs in the market place more than it does behind stained glass windows and under steeples.
I believe in taking faith to the streets. Not with bullhorns and skinny little comicbook tracks designed to scare someone into heaven. I believe that all people need Jesus. Rich, poor, people of color, people of different preferences or orientation. We all need Jesus. Not religion, but relationship. It's more than saying a prayer. Its more than saying you believe. Its more than reading your Bible or praying once or twice a day. Its doing life with the understood reality that Jesus desires to be an intricate part of your life.

We are a non-denominational gathering of about 50-75 followers of Jesus. We began in the summer of 2009 in a living room in Chattanooga and since then have moved to a coffee shop downtown. We believe that God is Father, Jesus is the Son of God, and Holy Spirit was sent to be our Helper. We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God for us to study. We believe that the Holy Spirit and the gifts He provides are still active. We believe in God's design for marriage & relationship as one of male and female. We believe that God is the god of life so we partner with him to see life for all: the unborn, babies, children, immigrants, women, men, all.
